A note on positioning — we are not a Stansted-based business. We are an East Anglian chauffeur service that handles Stansted transfers regularly because, geographically, it is the airport our clients use.
Stansted is the airport of choice for most of our East Anglian clients — thirty miles from Cambridge, forty from Bury St Edmunds, and well-positioned for short-haul European business travel and most of our outbound corporate journeys. We operate a regular, considered chauffeur service to and from the airport, designed around the realities of how business travel actually works.
How a Stansted transfer should run
Inbound transfers
Live flight tracking is included on every inbound booking. We watch the flight from the moment it departs — not the scheduled landing time — so the chauffeur is in the right car park at the right time, regardless of how the flight has actually run.
Meet-and-greet at arrivals is included as standard. The chauffeur waits in the arrivals hall (or airside, for international arrivals where appropriate) with a discreet name board if required, assists with luggage, and walks the client directly to the vehicle. 60 minutes of complimentary waiting time is included from landing — with additional time billed at our standard hourly rate.
Outbound transfers
Outbound transfers are timed against scheduled departure with a generous buffer for traffic. We monitor live road conditions on the day and adjust the pick-up time if needed — informing you the night before if so. Pricing is fixed and confirmed in advance.
Coverage from across East Anglia
Stansted transfers are run from across our service area. Cambridge to Stansted is approximately 45 minutes via the M11, Newmarket to Stansted is approximately 45 minutes via the A11, Bury St Edmunds is approximately 50 minutes via the A14 and M11. We also run regular transfers from the surrounding villages, USAF Mildenhall and Lakenheath, and the towns along the M11 corridor.
For private aviation
For clients flying private from Stansted’s FBO terminals (Inflite, Harrods Aviation), we operate discreet, kerbside-to-aircraft transfers. Operations and access cleared in advance with the FBO. Particularly relevant during Tattersalls sales weeks when international buyer movements peak.
